Life Goes On…

Life goes on…

I’m still holding upon…

The uncertain, unseen or untolds,

Everyday a new chapter unfolds..

Be patient, but you may need resilience,

Consequence of our diligence..

As life goes on,

And I’m still holding strong…

You grow, you learn, you nurture, you Cherish,

You Give, you forgive and we flourish…

You bloom, you spread smiles,

Enjoy it for all its while…

Spread smiles, happiness or help,

Kindness is then well felt!

Nothing will stay like castle of sand,

As time slips from your hand…

Thunderstorms

Thunderstorm

Here I’m sitting in my couch trying to listen to the sounds around me in the middle of the night. All are fast asleep and tucked in bed. Now, looking forward to peace and silence for a little bit before retiring to my room.

The tik-tik sound of my wall clock, the humming sound of my refrigerator, the passing by buses, cars (occasionally sounds from my living room balcony). All in perfect harmony with each other to put me in a relaxing mode.

It’s night time, just a dim bulb putting light on my stuff laying around me and casting there shadows. As, I get up to go to my room I realised that I forgot to take water jug for the night. I might need it in middle of the night just to have a gulp or if my husband needs it.

I switch off the light in my living room and start walking towards my room it is just two rooms away from living room as my house is all on the same level. I have to cross my son room and a common bathroom before entering my room. Before I even crossed my room I realised it started raining heavily outside, ( I don’t like thunderstorms noise and bit scared of them) so wanted to get to my room as soon as possible to get snuggled in bed next to him.

I crept inside my room in darkness making sure I don’t make any sudden sounds or noises to wake anyone. I can hear my husband snoring and making a whistling sounds. I knew now that he is fast asleep.

I entered my bed and lie down without making much sounds and movements but the moment I entered my bed quilt something heavy came upon me, I got scared as it was sudden…

then I realise it’s my husband hand to make me sleep tight in this thunderstorm and I slept like a baby. He is Yum Yum!!

Lost in the jungle….what did I see?

Lost in the jungle,

What did I see?

I saw animals and lots of trees.

I saw a snake, near the lake.

Hide, hide, hide…its gonna bite.

I saw a leopard sleeping on the log,

In the pond, a jumping frog.

Let’s run; one, two, three…

What did I see?

I saw a monkey, with a key,

He was hiding from me.

Hey! It belongs to my bike!!

I gave him a banana, that’s what he like.

I rode back home,

Finally, I’m not alone.

Mum and dad hug me tight,

It was time for me to say good night.

Time heals your wounds,
Wounds heal but leaves a scar,
You are one in a million but like a dead star.

Lost in hope,
Hope is lost,
Nothing ever lasts.

Patience leads results,
Waiting for results needs patience,
But who will deal with negligence.

No one loves,
Loves need no one,
For me Is there someone?

Loneliness is lonely,
Lonely is loneliness,
In the crowd I’m the one ONLY.

Starts meets the end,
End needs start,
What I do with my sad heart.

P.s. I’m lonely

Chapter # 3 Serena Rose

A room with landscapes view; Room No. 101 . The enterance was narrow. But it broadens after few steps into a wide and big room. First on your right you can see a big fish aquarium next to a long dining table with polished teakwood with silverware on it. On your left is a changing room and coat closet. Next to it is a door which is locked permanently.
As you move down it leads to two big rooms on left and right and a big beautiful patio with garden next to it.

A knock on the door, Mr Leo Oscar opens the door..

“Yes ?” He said. “An invite for you sir!,”said the bellman; with a big silly cheerful grin (he seems to have mastered over the years).

Mr Oscar put his hand in pocket to grab a note and gave away 50 dollars. “Merry Christmas” the bellman said in return, he smiled and shut the door.

The old man

Criss cross lines on his face showed the age and experience,

We judge and he didn’t that is the difference.

His blue eyes as deep as a sea,

Could see what we cannot see.

When he raised his hand,

Was to bless someone on the land.

We judged him again and again,

But we soon forget from where it all began.

The unconditional support and love,

All he always asked for is to be beloved

So, remember…Time will pass & the old leaves will fall,

And it will apply to us all..

P.S. Love elders and old age people always…they are the best gift to us…image from Google

Diwali with my dad

20151120-091119.jpg

A beautiful festival of india celebrated by all religions in their own way. With everyone’s own story to share.
But I have a different perspective on this.. For me it’s a feeling of happiness or beginning of joyful times with festive touch in the air. As Diwali is followed by many festival till new year so really enjoy it.

My memories are associated with how my parents enjoyed it and try to make it special each year. My mom and us kids would help her to spring clean the home few months in advance, would decorate or even redecorate the home or furnishing or bring something new and special to our home. It’s was like Christmas Day spirit already started..

My dad would make sure every corner of our home specially the living rooms and entrance with flowers, decorations you name it..
Would ask mom to make new and different cuisine or something special with exciting sweet dish for kids and family.
We would be showered with gifts which we always wanted and yes new clothes for everyone. We burst crackers after puja path at home and go to Gurudawara (temple) to light candles and pray.

(Though we stopped bursting crackers soon as we grew and came to understand the hazards it created in terms of pollution of all kinds.)

Then we used to have a grand feast all vegetarian only..!! And hopped to bed feeling tired and exhausted.

Waiting for christmas and new year to come!! Miss u dad…stay blessed where ever you are…!!

A trip – Eiffel Tower Paris

We went out on a holiday to France,
I feel in love with Eiffel Tower in first glance.

It seems like a romantic affair,
As love is in the air.

It is not just a metallic tower,
We do fall in love; it has that power!!

It’s like a crown on a king’s head,
A perfect location to propose or wed.

An iconic structure standing tall and proud,
A great impression of strength and beauty to the crowd.

Dazzled in night like stars in the sky,
On the top; you want to fly.

It seems like we struck gold,
A pleasure full experience to cherish and hold.

A heaven on earth as I see,
To which you all may agree.

A structure made of puddled iron and hardwork,
But it is so creative it seems like an artwork.

Many visitors come, go and visit again,
Just hop on a boat, plane or train.

Many replicas have been made,
But it’s an achievement that puts rest in shade.

Not without a deep sigh,
Till we meet again, goodbye!!
